Dirk Stok took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrej Moštenan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stijn Roswinkel in the 14th minute of the match. Brain Teuben's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Haroldo Poncio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Harculo defense, Gregorio Tor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dirk Stok. The Harculo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Stok should have stopped the shot. If Gregorio Tor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Harculo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brain Teuben to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Sterenberg in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Harculo's Stijn Roswinkel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Haroldo Poncio. Haroldo Poncio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrej Moštenan to make the kick off. Haroldo Poncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stijn Roswinkel in the 56th minute of play. Haroldo Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stijn Roswinkel in the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willem Buskes during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stijn Roswinkel in the 74th minute of play forced Empe Excelsior's goalkeeper Haroldo Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Empe Excelsior's Haroldo Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Sterenberg in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Harculo's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Moštenan came free, but Dirk Stok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brain Teuben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harculo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
