Rheebruggen S.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Huizinga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roland Apotheker charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Apotheker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 60 minutes, Jacob Huizinga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rheebruggen S.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacob Huizinga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charis Chatzis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Dilling in the 63rd minute of the match. Leon Rodenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hendrik-Jan Blikman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Bas Venema who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rheebruggen S.V.'s Hendrik-Jan Blikman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, PSV's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Dilling came free, but Charis Chatzis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Dilling scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charis Chatzis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Rheebruggen S.V. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sjors Jeronimus hit a great ball. Leon Rodenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hendrik-Jan Blikman having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Rheebruggen S.V.'s Ernst Anneese got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in PSV's zone, Jacob Huizinga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charis Chatzis came out of the goal and Jacob Huizinga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jacob Huizinga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rheebruggen S.V.'s Hendrik-Jan Blikman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bas Venema in the 91st minute of play. The Rheebruggen S.V. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
