Spectators: 7793 (Terracing: 5887, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christijan Hagenouw made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Brain Teuben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Steyns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valkenberg's Eddy Steyns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Reintjes in the 13th minute of play. When Urbes Palencia came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Valkenberg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbes Palencia couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Harculo defense, Christijan Hagenouw kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dirk Stok. The Harculo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Stok should have stopped the shot. Dirk Stok made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Urbes Palencia sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brain Teuben during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Harculo got a freekick which was hit by Brain Teuben. Donald Reintjes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Eddy Steyns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Reintjes in the 36th minute of the match. Gert Siepel kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christijan Hagenouw got free with Dirk Stok in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd play minute Christijan Hagenouw came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dirk Stok. 3-0. Urbes Palencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dirk Stok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donald Reintjes made a kick off. Gert Siepel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Christijan Hagenouw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Brain Teuben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harculo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brain Teuben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Valkenberg's Gert Siepel got a free kick in the 59th minute. Valkenberg's Kevin Been suffered a sore thigh after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Stijn Roswinkel's late challenge caught a Valkenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stijn Roswinkel helped the player get up and apologised. Brain Teuben struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Eddy Steyns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harculo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbes Palencia in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirk Stok prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Brain Teuben got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The long shot by Gerjan Klasens in the 73rd minute really tested Eddy Steyns's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Valkenberg's goalkeeper Eddy Steyns had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brain Teuben. Urbes Palencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Stok having to interfere. Urbes Palencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Valkenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Reintjes came free, but Eddy Steyns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brain Teuben struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Eddy Steyns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harculo. When the referee ended the match the Valkenberg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
