After 23 played minutes Rheebruggen S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Anneese. Ernst Anneese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eintracht Schultenbräu's Mark Brans got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Brans to make the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rheebruggen S.V. reached it. 85 minutes into the match, Eintracht Schultenbräu's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Dilling came free, but Henk van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Jacob Huizinga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Rheebruggen S.V. could leave the field as winners, despite Eintracht Schultenbräu having more of the ball for most of the match.
