Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bas Venema started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Teun Pepping shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Van Peel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isac Dalström fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSV's protests and gave Isac Dalström a yellow card for diving instead. Isac Dalström kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, FC Derks's Nico-Jan Mülder made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charis Chatzis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Derks's Klaas Sybering got a free kick in the 20th minute. Robin Van Peel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bas Venema in the 24th minute of the match. Klaas Aelbrecht's late challenge caught a FC Derks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klaas Aelbrecht helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PSV's Klaas Aelbrecht got a free kick in the 28th minute. FC Derks's Robin Van Peel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Derks from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes in the game, Bas Venema fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Robin Van Peel having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Teun Pepping managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teun Pepping was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robin Van Peel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teun Pepping in the 39th minute of play. Bas Venema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Robin Van Peel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nico-Jan Mülder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico-Jan Mülder to strike the kick off in the second half. Bas Venema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bas Venema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Van Peel having to interfere. Robin Van Peel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teun Pepping in the 58th minute of the match. Bas Venema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Robin Van Peel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Nico-Jan Mülder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Derks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PSV the free kick. The supporters of PSV booed when FC Derks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico-Jan Mülder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Derks's zone, Teun Pepping stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Van Peel came out of the goal and Teun Pepping tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Teun Pepping had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Van Peel. FC Derks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teun Pepping was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Teun Pepping came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the PSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teun Pepping couldn't finish the play. If Teun Pepping had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, PSV's Teun Pepping nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Van Peel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PSV fully deserved thier win.
