Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donald Reintjes took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rheebruggen S.V.'s goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Blikman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rheebruggen S.V.'s Hendrik-Jan Blikman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Rheebruggen S.V. from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Rheebruggen S.V.'s goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Blikman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Sterenberg. In the 18th minute, Jacob Huizinga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hendrik-Jan Blikman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Reintjes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Stijn Roswinkel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hendrik-Jan Blikman. Stijn Roswinkel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hendrik-Jan Blikman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brain Teuben in the 29th minute. Hendrik-Jan Blikman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Reintjes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Brain Teuben in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hendrik-Jan Blikman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brain Teuben got free with Hendrik-Jan Blikman in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

After having played for 54 minutes, Donald Reintjes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harculo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Reintjes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Harculo booed when Rheebruggen S.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Vaalman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Dilling in the 60th minute of play forced Harculo's goalkeeper Dirk Stok to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferry de Ridder hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Hendrik-Jan Blikman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Reintjes in the 65th minute of play. Hendrik-Jan Blikman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brain Teuben, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Hendrik-Jan Blikman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Reintjes in the 71st minute of play. Jacob Huizinga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roelof van Boxel charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roelof van Boxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rheebruggen S.V. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Roelof van Boxel hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Harculo got a freekick which was hit by Evert Warringa. 83 minutes into the match, Rheebruggen S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Brain Teuben came free, but Hendrik-Jan Blikman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brain Teuben in the 85th minute of play forced Rheebruggen S.V.'s goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Blikman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hendrik-Jan Blikman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Sterenberg in the 86th minute of the match. Hendrik-Jan Blikman came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Harculo's Brain Teuben. But to his dismay, Brain Teuben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 96 played minutes Harculo got a freekick which was hit by Brain Teuben. Erik Dilling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Harculo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rheebruggen S.V. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
