Klaas Sybering charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Robin Van Peel came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Valkenberg's Christijan Hagenouw. But to his dismay, Christijan Hagenouw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nico-Jan Mülder was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Siepel in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robin Van Peel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robin Van Peel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christijan Hagenouw in the 53rd minute of the match. Klaas Sybering hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Robin Van Peel made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Christijan Hagenouw sent off a good shot on target. Urbes Palencia might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Van Peel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbes Palencia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Valkenberg's Gert Siepel got a free kick in the 71st minute. Robin Van Peel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christijan Hagenouw in the 74th minute. A collision led to FC Derks getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Willem Roelofs hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC Derks's Robin Van Peel got control of the ball when Christijan Hagenouw tried to sneak it across the goal line.
