If Celsinho Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Oldetrine's Ab Klerk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jostein Sønsteby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celsinho Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Folker Hillen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heiligenboom. Ab Klerk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jostein Sønsteby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jostein Sønsteby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ab Klerk in the 28th minute. When Ricardo Laguardia fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oldetrine's protests and gave Ricardo Laguardia a yellow card for diving instead. Oldetrine's Ricardo Laguardia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vincent Beukers, made in the 40th minute of the game. After 41 played minutes Heiligenboom got a freekick which was hit by Alex Knopper. After a defensive mix-up in Heiligenboom's zone, Ab Klerk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jostein Sønsteby came out of the goal and Ab Klerk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 54 played minutes Oldetrine got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Doll. In the 55th minute, Vincent Beukers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jostein Sønsteby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ab Klerk went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Abraham Doll hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Oldetrine's Ab Klerk got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jostein Sønsteby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ab Klerk in the 66th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Heiligenboom's goal looked a bit too open when Ab Klerk came free, but Jostein Sønsteby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniel van Gastel fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
