Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frits Rinzema took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fimel's attentive Alex Ranzijn managed to snatch the ball when Gérard Rebours made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Mikelball's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Jonasson came free, but Robin van Zalen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gio Fellinger kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Torsten Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin van Zalen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Frits Sijmonds dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egbert Stolte, 1-0. Frits Rinzema struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Egbert Stolte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mikelball. Frits Rinzema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egbert Stolte having to interfere. Jakub Kiwior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frits Rinzema's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Egbert Stolte firmly grabbed it by the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Fimel's goalkeeper Egbert Stolte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frits Rinzema. Egbert Stolte was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Gustaf Sjöberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustaf Sjöberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 39th minute, Frits Sijmonds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefaan Ciobica hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torsten Jonasson to make the kick off. Egbert Stolte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits Rinzema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Fimel getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jakub Kiwior hit a great ball. When Eric Reitsema fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fimel's protests and gave Eric Reitsema a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Fimel got a freekick which was hit by Eric Reitsema. Egbert Stolte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frits Sijmonds's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 74 played minutes Mikelball got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Pothuizen. The supporters of Fimel booed when Mikelball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gérard Rebours didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin van Zalen was a little too slow when Torsten Jonasson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 2-1. After a rather tough play, Mikelball's Stefaan Ciobica got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 87 minutes, Vanyo Pamukov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fimel and the Mikelball players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mikelball's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
