Jakub Kiwior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Tanis having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Fimel got a freekick which was hit by Laurens Oldenborger. In the 45th minute, Rudolf van den Bergh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan de Jong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Westsoeburg S.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fimel were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guus Baars to strike the kick off in the second half. Thor Lundgren hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. René Tanis made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Torsten Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torsten Jonasson got free with René Tanis in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fimel's Torsten Jonasson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hubert Hoezen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egbert Stolte having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Westsoeburg S.C.'s goalkeeper René Tanis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Roswinkel. When Carel Huizen fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westsoeburg S.C.'s protests and gave Carel Huizen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Westsoeburg S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carel Huizen to maneuver through the defense. Westsoeburg S.C.'s René Tanis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Westsoeburg S.C. from getting a goal against them. Hubert Hoezen might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egbert Stolte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hubert Hoezen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute Guus Baars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Stolte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but René Tanis made a huge save.
