When Wilfried Sturm came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FC Groenhoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfried Sturm couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes FC Groenhoven got a freekick which was hit by Bastiaan Kluivert. Gramsbergen FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Bastiaan Kluivert scored to the left of an out of position Bill Schiphouwer, making the score, 1-5. In the 95th minute, Ferry Roeles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FC Groenhoven players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
