Peter Dijkstra hit a great ball. Gio Ubels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Oss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gio Ubels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joep van Zalen in the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Loveren's goal looked a bit too open when Robert-Jan Schild came free, but Hugo van Halst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gio Ubels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Roland Pothuizen hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, John Zeijlemaker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gio Ubels was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 23 minutes into the match, Harmole HC's goal looked a bit too open when Dolf Bosma came free, but Gio Ubels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Dijkstra kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Gio Ubels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Oss in the 26th minute of play. John Zeijlemaker took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gio Ubels. Gio Ubels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Harmole HC's Peter Dijkstra got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Reinier Baptist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Robin Oss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loveren's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Oss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gio Ubels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robin Oss took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gio Ubels. Gio Ubels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 44th minute, Joep van Zalen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loveren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Thomasse in the 48th minute of play forced Harmole HC's goalkeeper Gio Ubels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Zeijlemaker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henk Akkerman kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gio Ubels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joep van Zalen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gio Ubels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Felix Thomasse came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gio Ubels could save by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Harmole HC's goal looked a bit too open when John Zeijlemaker came free, but Gio Ubels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Loveren's Roland Pothuizen got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gio Ubels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Oss in the 72nd minute of play. Gio Ubels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Oss in the 78th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Peter Dijkstra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harmole HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loveren the free kick. The supporters of Loveren booed when Harmole HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Dijkstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Gio Ubels managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Loveren's John Zeijlemaker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Harmole HC defense, Felix Thomasse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gio Ubels. The Harmole HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gio Ubels should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Harmole HC's Gio Ubels got control of the ball when John Zeijlemaker tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Robin Oss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gio Ubels, 0-7. Peter Dijkstra was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Peter Dijkstra kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Harmole HC's Gio Ubels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Harmole HC from getting a goal against them. Loveren played a much better game than Harmole HC and deserved their victory. The Harmole HC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
