Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lennart de Visscher started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Ankrum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmie van den Berg to maneuver through the defense. Ate Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven van Putten in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Peter Dijkstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ate Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes, Sven van Putten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harmole HC and the Ankrum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Sven van Putten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Harmole HC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart de Visscher came free, but Gio Ubels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gio Ubels made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Maurice Holsmuller sent off a good shot on target. Lennart de Visscher received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gio Ubels came out and tried to block the shot, but Lennart de Visscher slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. Dirk Jan van Zeggeren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gio Ubels made a huge save. Maurice Holsmuller took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gio Ubels. Gio Ubels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 35th minute, Lennart de Visscher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Harmole HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arie Okkes to maneuver through the defense. Robert-Jan Schild's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ate Beerthuis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ankrum's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert-Jan Schild was slow to take the kick. During this time Harmole HC's players had a chance to rest. After 45 minutes, Martijn Waterreus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harmole HC and the Ankrum players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Harmole HC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Martijn Waterreus hit a great ball. Ate Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giel Fikkers in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Gio Ubels came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ankrum's Dirk Jan van Zeggeren. But to his dismay, Dirk Jan van Zeggeren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gio Ubels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurice Holsmuller, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Ate Beerthuis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gio Ubels came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Ankrum's Dirk Jan van Zeggeren. But to his dismay, Dirk Jan van Zeggeren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 72nd match minute, Ankrum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remond Ronde to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Robert-Jan Schild dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ate Beerthuis, 4-1. 80 minutes into the game, Ankrum's Lennart de Visscher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gio Ubels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After some careless play in the Ankrum defense, Sven van Putten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ate Beerthuis. The Ankrum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ate Beerthuis should have stopped the shot. After 87 minutes of play, Ankrum's Lennart de Visscher made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gio Ubels was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the game, Giel Fikkers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harmole HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ankrum the free kick. After 91 played minutes Harmole HC got a freekick which was hit by Giel Fikkers. Ankrum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
