Spoorakker BV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ankrum the free kick. The supporters of Ankrum booed when Spoorakker BV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmar Verhoeven didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Giel Bult shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robin Theuws showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jan Korsma charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Korsma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Spoorakker BV's Marcel Eylens got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Remond Bender fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spoorakker BV's protests and gave Remond Bender a yellow card for diving instead. Remond Bender kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Spoorakker BV's Elmar Verhoeven got a free kick in the 14th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ankrum's Giel Bult tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Henk Kremer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankrum's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk Kremer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Theuws breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Spoorakker BV defense, Maurice Holsmuller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Theuws. The Spoorakker BV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Theuws should have stopped the shot. After 23 minutes of play, Ankrum's Maurice Holsmuller made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Theuws was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Kremer in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Holsmuller in the 28th minute of play forced Spoorakker BV's goalkeeper Robin Theuws to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Theuws made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Kremer in the 31st minute of play. Oscar Ronde's late challenge caught a Ankrum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Ronde helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Spoorakker BV's Oscar Ronde got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Robin Theuws showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart de Visscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurice Holsmuller in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robin Theuws saved Spoorakker BV from getting behind. Maurice Holsmuller scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Theuws, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Lennart de Visscher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Theuws. Spoorakker BV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart de Visscher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Robin Theuws made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurice Holsmuller in the 54th minute. Robin Theuws made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Maurice Holsmuller sent off a good shot on target. Henk Kremer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Robin Theuws tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Henny Sparnaaij managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spoorakker BV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henny Sparnaaij was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ankrum were furious when Henk Kremer was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 66th match minute, Ankrum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Kremer to maneuver through the defense. When Oscar Ronde came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Spoorakker BV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Ronde couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Lennart de Visscher made a precise shot to the right of Robin Theuws. Spoorakker BV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. If Lennart de Visscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Bos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Theuws having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Maurice Holsmuller notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Spoorakker BV's Robin Theuws. Robin Theuws was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute of the match, Maurice Holsmuller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robin Theuws was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jan Korsma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankrum's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Korsma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Theuws breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The tension between the Ankrum and the Spoorakker BV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ankrum getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lennart de Visscher hit a great ball. Spoorakker BV's Oscar Ronde couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ankrum. Ankrum's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
