Spectators: 1838 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when John Zeijlemaker made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Dave Vliet managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cliffeinde's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Vliet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo van Halst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, SC Cliffeinde's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Oss came free, but Edgard Gasteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Loveren's zone, Nigel Jansen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo van Halst came out of the goal and Nigel Jansen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Loveren's Joep van Zalen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Gasteren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, Loveren's John Zeijlemaker made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Gasteren was left in no man's land by his defense there! John Zeijlemaker took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgard Gasteren. Edgard Gasteren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 23 minutes of play, Loveren's Felix Thomasse made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Gasteren was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, SC Cliffeinde's goal looked a bit too open when John Zeijlemaker came free, but Edgard Gasteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Joris Nedergaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Gasteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, SC Cliffeinde's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Oss came free, but Edgard Gasteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Thomasse's late challenge caught a SC Cliffeinde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Thomasse helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Thomasse kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Dave Vliet kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 36thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Loveren's keeper Hugo van Halst was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. SC Cliffeinde's Edgard Gasteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Oss in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Felix Thomasse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Gasteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dave Vliet took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo van Halst. Hugo van Halst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 60 minutes into the match, SC Cliffeinde's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Pothuizen came free, but Edgard Gasteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Zeijlemaker in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard Gasteren saved SC Cliffeinde from getting behind. In the 69th play minute John Zeijlemaker came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edgard Gasteren. 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Oss in the 72nd minute of play forced SC Cliffeinde's goalkeeper Edgard Gasteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Jan Houtman kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Edgard Gasteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Zeijlemaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Gasteren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joep van Zalen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 83 minute of play. Edgard Gasteren made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Zeijlemaker in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, Loveren's Robin Oss dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. The SC Cliffeinde supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Loveren's performance. The match ended with a win for Loveren.
