In the 11th match minute, FC Gemelli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gido Harding to maneuver through the defense. Wilco Höhenstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Karelse in the 12th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriaan Ritsma got free with Gio Ubels in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Karelse made a kick off. Harmole HC's Gio Ubels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koen Claevers in the 53rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Harmole HC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Gio Ubels went to the wrong direction when Koen Claevers was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Harmole HC's Gio Ubels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriaan Ritsma in the 90th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Gemelli fully deserved thier win.
