Piara Batistutas short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Jan Hendrik Wessels to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 7 minutes into the match, Vedette United's Jordy Bartele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Keupink in the 9th minute of play forced Bergeikers's goalkeeper Hernani Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Auke Heijen kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Hernani Messias came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Vedette United's Karel Keupink. But to his dismay, Karel Keupink quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 肖建云 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gertjan Ostermann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani Messias having to make a save. In the 28th match minute, Bergeikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piara Batistuta to maneuver through the defense. Piara Batistuta took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Hendrik Wessels. Jan Hendrik Wessels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Bergeikers getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Otto Klasen hit a great ball.

Jan Hendrik Wessels didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bergeikers's Piara Batistuta shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gertjan Ostermann got free with Hernani Messias in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Bergeikers's zone, Gertjan Ostermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Messias came out of the goal and Gertjan Ostermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piara Batistuta scored 3-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Hendrik Wessels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Bergeikers's Franco Scutti got a free kick in the 66th minute. Piara Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Hendrik Wessels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Karel Keupink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Piara Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernani Messias didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. Piara Batistuta took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Hendrik Wessels. Jan Hendrik Wessels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. The supporters of Vedette United booed when Bergeikers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Agachi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
