Wilfred Höhenstein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dennis Arends made a huge save. 11 minutes into the game, Frank Heersprink threw the ball into play from the sideline. Zwart Wit Franeker 24's Wesley Krommert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. TheDukes's Dennis Arends proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save TheDukes from getting a goal against them. Dennis Arends showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Peeters in the 17th minute of the match. Wilfred Höhenstein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Dennis Arends made a huge save. Dennis Arends took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nigel Peeters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nigel Peeters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Arends having to interfere. Dennis Arends was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nigel Peeters showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. When Nigel Peeters, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dennis Arends was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Zwart Wit Franeker 24's Wilco Eiting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurgen Schattenberg in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the TheDukes defense, Wilfred Höhenstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Arends. The TheDukes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Arends should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nigel Peeters stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fabian Brock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marick Hansma charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marick Hansma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to TheDukes getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marick Hansma hit a great ball. Dennis Arends showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Peeters, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, TheDukes's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Peeters came free, but Dennis Arends reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Arends showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfred Höhenstein in the 67th minute of the match. Dennis Arends showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Peeters, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Fabian Brock scored 4-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Arends, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Wilfred Höhenstein notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of TheDukes's Dennis Arends. Dennis Arends was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilco Eiting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Wessel in the 80th minute of the match. Wilfred Höhenstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Arends having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Nigel Peeters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zwart Wit Franeker 24 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfred Höhenstein in the 92nd minute of play forced TheDukes's goalkeeper Dennis Arends to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Zwart Wit Franeker 24 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
