Remco van Herwijnen kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Erwin Iepmann's late challenge caught a TheDukes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erwin Iepmann helped the player get up and apologised. Erwin Iepmann hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dennis Arends showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Iepmann in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Vergaray got free with Billy Niewens in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harald Roeles to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, TheDukes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi Hebert to maneuver through the defense. Harald Roeles scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Arends, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Billy Niewens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerard Wessel's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Erwin Iepmann got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Billy Niewens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard Wessel went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijs van der Struijk in the 73rd minute of play forced Tornado Kicks's goalkeeper Billy Niewens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Heersprink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TheDukes's Gijs van der Struijk got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurgen Schattenberg in the 96th minute of play forced Tornado Kicks's goalkeeper Billy Niewens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TheDukes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
