Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Hofland in the 3rd minute of play forced New Gooxtonian Boys's goalkeeper Coenraad Wilmink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donny Hofland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to New Gooxtonian Boys getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hans Fokkelman hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Hans Fokkelman took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gösta Blomkvist to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Oevereind FC's Gösta Blomkvist got control of the ball when Hans Fokkelman tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Donny Hofland came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Oevereind FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donny Hofland couldn't finish the play. Coenraad Wilmink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Hofland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Hans Fokkelman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Gooxtonian Boys and the Oevereind FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, New Gooxtonian Boys's Hans Fokkelman got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Donny Hofland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oevereind FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 28 minutes, Donny Hofland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oevereind FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donny Hofland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as New Gooxtonian Boys's Kees Eising slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gösta Blomkvist. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. 37 minutes into the match, Oevereind FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sipke van Zeist came free, but Gösta Blomkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Dolfing's late challenge caught a New Gooxtonian Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Dolfing helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oevereind FC's Kevin Dolfing got a free kick in the 38th minute. Gösta Blomkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurice Wikenburg went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, New Gooxtonian Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Hofland came free, but Coenraad Wilmink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurice Wikenburg during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 47 minutes into the match, Oevereind FC's Donny Hofland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Coenraad Wilmink narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donny Hofland to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in New Gooxtonian Boys's zone, Donny Hofland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coenraad Wilmink came out of the goal and Donny Hofland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gösta Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kees Eising in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute Sipke van Zeist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oevereind FC's Donny Hofland got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Maurice Wikenburg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sipke van Zeist in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, New Gooxtonian Boys's Maurice Wikenburg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gösta Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Eising, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Oevereind FC's Mitchell Kiewit got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Oevereind FC's zone, Maurice Wikenburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Blomkvist came out of the goal and Maurice Wikenburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. New Gooxtonian Boys's Gilbert de Boer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Oevereind FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maurice Wikenburg in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Blomkvist saved Oevereind FC from getting behind. Raimundo Büchler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, one of Oevereind FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oevereind FC. Gösta Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sipke van Zeist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New Gooxtonian Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
