Christijan Veenhuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christijan Veenhuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to BelaVista FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Evert Swart hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Dennis Vaalman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BelaVista FC's Evert Holsmuller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Dennis Vaalman made a precise shot to the right of Evert Holsmuller. BelaVista FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Vaalman to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Edgard Höhenstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dennis Vaalman came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the GALATASARAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Vaalman couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Auke Sandbergen during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of BelaVista FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GALATASARAY:s goal. Pieter-Jan Blanker placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After having played for 66 minutes, Joep Heesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, BelaVista FC's Auke Sandbergen got a free kick in the 94th minute. GALATASARAY's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
