After a rather tough play, Buikstede's Hans Borgman got a free kick in the 16th minute. Dennis Vaalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25thth minute of the game Dennis Vaalman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buikstede's Coenraad Maseland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Buikstede defense, Dennis Vaalman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Coenraad Maseland. The Buikstede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Coenraad Maseland should have stopped the shot. GALATASARAY's Egil Borlaug got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When GALATASARAY's Dennis Vaalman in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Vaalman to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Buikstede's goal looked a bit too open when Joep Heesen came free, but Coenraad Maseland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dennis Vaalman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Coenraad Maseland was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Egil Borlaug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egil Borlaug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Buikstede's zone, Joep Heesen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Coenraad Maseland came out of the goal and Joep Heesen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coenraad Maseland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Vaalman's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 85th match minute, GALATASARAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Borlaug to maneuver through the defense. After 94 minutes, Hans Borgman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buikstede and the GALATASARAY players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Buikstede getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hans Borgman hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the game, one of Buikstede:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 1-6 after a penalty in the 97th minute, where GALATASARAY:s Pieter-Jan Blanker tricked Buikstede:s Coenraad Maseland with a difficult ball by the left post. The Buikstede fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GALATASARAY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
