The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 22 minutes, Fredrik Odén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nijhoven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Odén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Palsma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes of play, Nijhoven's Fredrik Odén made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nathan Ottens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johannes Palsma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Wel having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredrik Odén in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan Ottens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nathan Ottens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Odén in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Gerrit Tijink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AMOR EROS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerrit Tijink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nathan Ottens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Odén, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 42 minutes, Berend Korfs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nijhoven and the AMOR EROS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nijhoven's Berend Korfs got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 74th match minute, AMOR EROS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jelle Dissels to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Fredrik Odén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathan Ottens was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Nathan Ottens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredrik Odén's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredrik Odén in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nathan Ottens saved AMOR EROS from getting behind. Nijhoven's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
