Spectators: 8045 (Terracing: 6035, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casper Zandstra started the match with the kick off. Klement Liberko kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pierre Breugel in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Cristofol saved NBSVV from getting behind. In the 11th minute Pierre Breugel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the NBSVV defense, Pierre Breugel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Cristofol. The NBSVV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Cristofol should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre Breugel's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Brain Roelofsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NBSVV's Sebastian Cristofol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre Breugel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre Breugel's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Brain Roelofsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Strobos charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Strobos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC de Patjakkers booed when NBSVV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Strobos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joost Veenhuis in the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre Breugel in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Cristofol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, NBSVV's Mark Strobos got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Brain Roelofsen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Cristofol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When FC de Patjakkers's Pierre Breugel in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NBSVV's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half FC de Patjakkers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

NBSVV made a substitution. Nico-Jan van Westerop replaced Roeland Knops. NBSVV's Nico-Jan Wiggers was substituted for Robert Buys. The wind increased when Pierre Breugel made the kick off in the second half. Pierre Breugel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Cristofol having to interfere. If Brain Roelofsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rob Ewald hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Casper Zandstra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NBSVV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Zandstra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Pierre Breugel took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Sebastian Cristofol to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Pierre Breugel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Cristofol was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 69 played minutes NBSVV got a freekick which was hit by Albert Kruijs. The throw-in from Eulalio Gaufred in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NBSVV's Albert Kruijs. Youri Klaus hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Sebastian Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brain Roelofsen in the 74th minute of play. Paul de Boer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Zandstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Cristofol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre Breugel went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 82 played minutes, NBSVV's Youri Klaus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul de Boer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NBSVV reached it. Sebastian Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Breugel in the 84th minute of the match. Pierre Breugels short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Sebastian Cristofol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of FC de Patjakkers booed when NBSVV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan van der Werff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre Breugels short, quick shot in the 99thth minute got Sebastian Cristofol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
