The referee ignored Stadsfenne's protests and gave Henk Brons a yellow card for diving instead. Bartlomiej Cichocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Spiering in the 24th minute of the match. Andres Geleberto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Bartlomiej Cichocki 53 minutes into the match. Peter Wilson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henk Brons went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Bartlomiej Cichocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Henk Brons might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Wilson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henk Brons ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Stadsfenne getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Twan Dekker hit a great ball. With a little luck, Stadsfenne's Bartlomiej Cichocki got control of the ball when Andres Geleberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aviator Athletic made a substitution. Bas Bunt replaced Jim Spiering. After 87 minutes of play, Stadsfenne's Henk Brons made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Wilson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Bas Bunt made a precise shot to the right of Bartlomiej Cichocki. Stadsfenne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6. Aviator Athletic played a much better game than Stadsfenne and deserved their victory. The Stadsfenne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
