Ernest Timmerman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Ernest Timmerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Timmerman in the 25th minute of play forced Stadsfenne's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Cichocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes Stadsfenne got a freekick which was hit by Arjen Wijker. Ernest Timmerman got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Silvio Fliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stadsfenne's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Fliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Klaassen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of SC CAMBUUR LEEUWARDEN booed when Stadsfenne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Fliz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
