Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1854, VIP seats: 50) In the 4th minute Fredrik Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, NBSVV's Sebastian Cristofol got control of the ball when Berend Korfs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Berry Schoonderwoerd's late challenge caught a Nijhoven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berry Schoonderwoerd helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Cristofol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fredrik Odén showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Sebastian Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Fens in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to NBSVV getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mark Strobos hit a great ball. After some careless play in the NBSVV defense, Richard Fens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Cristofol. The NBSVV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Cristofol should have stopped the shot. Sebastian Cristofol came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Nijhoven's Fredrik Odén. But to his dismay, Fredrik Odén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredrik Odén in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Cristofol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Nijhoven's Sebastian Cristofol threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pierre Schirring, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Berend Korfs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nijhoven's supporters rose to their feet, but Berend Korfs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Fredrik Odén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Cristofol was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Jan Wel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berry Schoonderwoerd in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

NBSVV made a substitution. Nico-Jan van Westerop replaced Roeland Knops. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Odén to make the kick off. Wilco Opdam kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jelmer Oldenborger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute of the match, Berry Schoonderwoerd tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Wel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Odén in the 59th minute of play forced NBSVV's goalkeeper Sebastian Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Odén in the 61st minute of play. When Berry Schoonderwoerd came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the NBSVV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berry Schoonderwoerd couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Fredrik Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berend Korfs in the 72nd minute of the match. Fredrik Odén took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Cristofol. Sebastian Cristofol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0.
