Peter Schirring made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Teo Deijnen sent off a good shot on target. Edward Nijsse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Wessel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douwe Krommert kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Arno Fokkens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Nijsse having to make a save. If Lukas Wessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lukas Wessel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Gapinge SC's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Fokkens came free, but Edward Nijsse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Robert Saarberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Nijsse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Wessel in the 30th minute of the match. Edward Nijsse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiaan Vrieling went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Gapinge SC's Douwe Krommert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Schirring. Peter Schirring yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Arno Fokkens took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Nijsse. Edward Nijsse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 47th minute, Arne Ax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Arno Fokkens made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Lukas Wessel from a close distance when the talented Edward Nijsse managed to make a qualified save. Gapinge SC's players were relieved. Edward Nijsse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Fokkens, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Christiaan Vrieling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edward Nijsse came out and tried to block the shot, but Christiaan Vrieling slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 57th minute. Gapinge SC's Edward Nijsse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Gapinge SC from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute of the match, Lukas Wessel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edward Nijsse was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Douwe Krommert fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukas Wessel got free with Edward Nijsse in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gapinge SC's Edward Nijsse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Fokkens in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Christiaan Vrieling recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edward Nijsse. Christiaan Vrieling showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. 79 minutes into the game, Brouwershoek FC's Arno Fokkens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Nijsse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. After 83 minutes of play, Brouwershoek FC's Lukas Wessel made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Nijsse was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Brouwershoek FC's Edward Nijsse threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dave Tanis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brouwershoek FC's Dave Tanis got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brouwershoek FC played a much better game than Gapinge SC and deserved their victory. The Gapinge SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
