Bob Karelse charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bob Karelse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Bob Karelse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Killer Elite booed when Raamberg Excelsior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fokke Fokkelman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rajmund Sáfár came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Killer Elite's Bob Karelse. But to his dismay, Bob Karelse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Heinz-Dieter Baxter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tjeerd de Freitas made a huge save. Gertjan Krol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Killer Elite's Tjeerd de Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Killer Elite from getting a goal against them. Mario Ranzijn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tjeerd de Freitas. FC Killer Elite's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gertjan Krol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tjeerd de Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heinz-Dieter Baxter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjeerd de Freitas having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Gertjan Krol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raamberg Excelsior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.

Raamberg Excelsior's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Ranzijn in the 55th minute. Raamberg Excelsior's Gertjan Krol got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Killer Elite's goalkeeper Tjeerd de Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinz-Dieter Baxter in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Killer Elite's goalkeeper Tjeerd de Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Raamberg Excelsior's Gertjan Krol made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tjeerd de Freitas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raamberg Excelsior's Rajmund Sáfár proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Raamberg Excelsior from getting a goal against them. Heinz-Dieter Baxter might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tjeerd de Freitas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heinz-Dieter Baxter ran back to his position shaking his head. After 87 minutes, Foeke Bouma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Killer Elite and the Raamberg Excelsior players grew even worse after the yellow card. Foeke Bouma kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Gertjan Krol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raamberg Excelsior walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
