Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olof Koekkoek took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Folkert Beishuizen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Remond Stuifzand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KING's Lucien Kiewit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Koekkoek in the 9th minute of play. Ryan Kuypers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Folkert Beishuizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andre Caluwé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lucien Kiewit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Schuilenburg's Bram Stroeve got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Remond Stuifzand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folkert Beishuizen in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Ryan Kuypers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KING fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olof Koekkoek in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucien Kiewit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ryan Kuypers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remond Stuifzand having to interfere. Andre Caluwé struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Lucien Kiewit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schuilenburg. KING's Ryan Kuypers got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Folkert Beishuizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Schuilenburg getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jhon Hassel hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Wim Kuys sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remond Stuifzand skillfully saved the ball. Folkert Beishuizen struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Remond Stuifzand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KING. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
After a defensive mix-up in KING's zone, Andre Caluwé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucien Kiewit came out of the goal and Andre Caluwé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Werner Reintjes's late challenge caught a KING's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Werner Reintjes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Schuilenburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Reintjes to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Schuilenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Kuypers came free, but Remond Stuifzand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, KING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Kuys to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Roland Fellinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Olof Koekkoek notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of KING's Lucien Kiewit. Lucien Kiewit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 66 minutes, Ryan Kuypers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KING's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryan Kuypers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wim Kuys charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wim Kuys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wim Kuys hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Andre Caluwé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lucien Kiewit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucien Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berend Huizing, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Wim Kuys got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Remond Stuifzand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The long shot by Wim Kuys in the 81st minute really tested Remond Stuifzand's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ryan Kuypers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remond Stuifzand having to interfere. Ryan Kuypers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Remond Stuifzand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Folkert Beishuizen managed to get in a good position for a shot. KING's supporters rose to their feet, but Folkert Beishuizen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remond Stuifzand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucien Kiewit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Caluwé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KING's Folkert Beishuizen got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded KING left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Schuilenburg.
