Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olof Koekkoek kicked off to start the match. Schuilenburg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Mark Boven scored to the left of an out of position Remond Stuifzand, making the score, 1-0. Olof Koekkoek kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Blerick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Paul Lans to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Olof Koekkoek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schuilenburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Koekkoek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaas Jan Berends breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remond Stuifzand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Boven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Andre Caluwé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Blerick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coenraad Zandee to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Coenraad Zandee in the 25th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Blerick booed when Schuilenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berend Huizing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Boven in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remond Stuifzand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mark Boven struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Remond Stuifzand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blerick. Berend Huizing hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Andre Caluwé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Boven to make the kick off. Schuilenburg's Remond Stuifzand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Boven in the 53rd minute of play. Vincent van Loo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Remond Stuifzand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Boven in the 54th minute of play. Schuilenburg's Andre Caluwé got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Boven in the 65th minute of play forced Schuilenburg's goalkeeper Remond Stuifzand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Paul Lans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remond Stuifzand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Boven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olof Koekkoek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd of the match, Olof Koekkoek tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Klaas Jan Berends got in the way and made a wonderful save. Geert Ronde kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Schuilenburg's Andre Caluwé got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Blerick booed when Schuilenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berend Huizing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coenraad Zandee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remond Stuifzand having to interfere. Wilco Windmuller kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Blerick had won after a very even match.
