KING's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sellingen the free kick. In the 11th minute, Sjef Rinzema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Sellingen were awarded a corner. Emil van Wonderen went to the cornerflag to take it. Sellingen's Emil van Wonderen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucien Kiewit in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Folkert Beishuizen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Franssen having to make a save. In the 23rd minute Emil van Wonderen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Kiewit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucien Kiewit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Eylens, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Lucien Kiewit was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emil van Wonderen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Ryan Kuypers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Sellingen booed when KING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Kuys didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sellingen's Folkert Saelman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucien Kiewit. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. Lucien Kiewit was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Jorn Kip capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorn Kip really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Folkert Beishuizen made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, KING's Folkert Beishuizen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Franssen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Schoonderwoerd in the 62nd minute of play forced KING's goalkeeper Lucien Kiewit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ryan Kuypers managed to get in a good position for a shot. KING's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Kuypers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Franssen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sjef Rinzema hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, KING's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Schoonderwoerd came free, but Lucien Kiewit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes, Emil van Wonderen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sellingen and the KING players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucien Kiewit showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 92nd match minute, KING was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sjef Rinzema to maneuver through the defense. Sellingen's Emil van Wonderen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KING. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Gert Schoonderwoerd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sellingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Gert Schoonderwoerd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucien Kiewit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sellingen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
