With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolf Sybring prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolf Sybring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Kruijs, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Elroy Oorschot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Sybring having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Elroy Oorschot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trixie FC's Rolf Sybring was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolf Sybring stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elroy Oorschot's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny de Vos in the 52nd minute of play forced Royal Maas Yacht Club's goalkeeper Wim Otten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Otten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Cees de Jong took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolf Sybring. Trixie FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Ronny de Vos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trixie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Maas Yacht Club the free kick. If Cees de Jong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timmie Schirring charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timmie Schirring the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Trixie FC got a freekick which was hit by Timmie Schirring. After having played for 75 minutes, Stefano Enzing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Maas Yacht Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefano Enzing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elroy Oorschots short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Rolf Sybring to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 82nd minute of the match, Stefano Enzing tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolf Sybring saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 84 minutes into the match, Royal Maas Yacht Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny de Vos came free, but Wim Otten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Sybring made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elroy Oorschot in the 85th minute. With his leg Rolf Sybring managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Royal Maas Yacht Club's Elroy Oorschot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Trixie FC's Rolf Sybring got control of the ball when Elroy Oorschot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolf Sybring stood somewhat misplaced when Elroy Oorschot came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 92 minute. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Jack Rodenboog sped through Royal Maas Yacht Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wim Otten. Royal Maas Yacht Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
