Hogeweg FC's Lukas Sundén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matijs Hensmans in the 33rd minute of play. Taco Kamps could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but José Dias made a huge save. Thijs Stroobos charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thijs Stroobos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taco Kamps in the 42nd minute. Lukas Sundén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matijs Hensmans's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Taco Kamps could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but José Dias made a huge save. Heideheim FC's José Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Heideheim FC from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Jacco Carels charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacco Carels the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Vliet in the 81st minute of play forced Heideheim FC's goalkeeper José Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Teuben got free with Lukas Sundén in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matijs Hensmans in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukas Sundén saved Hogeweg FC from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Hogeweg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matijs Hensmans came free, but Lukas Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
