Spectators: 8053 (Terracing: 6041, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 160) Henk Kikkert started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Ronny de Vos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trixie FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roderick Eringa in the 8th minute of play forced Trixie FC's goalkeeper Rolf Sybring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henk Kikkert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henk Kikkert in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolf Sybring, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 15th minute, Ronny de Vos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VV Zonnedael's Erben Tamminga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rolf Sybring but with some difficulty. Roderick Eringa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolf Sybring having to make a save. Henk Kikkert in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolf Sybring, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Henk Kikkerts short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Rolf Sybring to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Thijs Gulpen fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trixie FC's protests and gave Thijs Gulpen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of VV Zonnedael booed when Trixie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thijs Gulpen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Kikkert in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolf Sybring saved Trixie FC from getting behind. Rolf Sybring came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by VV Zonnedael's Henk Kikkert. But to his dismay, Henk Kikkert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Henk Kikkert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolf Sybring. Trixie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henk Kikkert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The Trixie FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Trixie FC's Jack Rodenboog looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Emiel Huiting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Rodenboog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henk Kikkert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Sybring having to interfere. Trixie FC's Rolf Sybring proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Trixie FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Trixie FC's zone, Roderick Eringa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Sybring came out of the goal and Roderick Eringa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timmie Schirring took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiel Huiting. VV Zonnedael's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Rodenboog was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, VV Zonnedael's Henk Kikkert got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Joost Brouwers short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Emiel Huiting to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emiel Huiting was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jack Rodenboog showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 54 minute of play. Henk Kikkert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rolf Sybring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62ndth minute of the game Henk Kikkert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trixie FC's Rolf Sybring was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Billy Das sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joost Brouwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Emiel Huiting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Joost Brouwer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trixie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joost Brouwer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiel Huiting breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolf Sybring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Kikkert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Billy Das scored 3-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolf Sybring, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 played minutes VV Zonnedael got a freekick which was hit by Billy Das. The supporters of Trixie FC booed when VV Zonnedael was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Kikkert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiel Huiting made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ronny de Vos sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play, VV Zonnedael's Henk Kikkert made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolf Sybring was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 96 played minutes Trixie FC got a freekick which was hit by Joost Brouwer. Rolf Sybring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roderick Eringa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VV Zonnedael were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Trixie FC to leave the ground with a draw.
