Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gentle Ds's Wouter de Zwaan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Werner Korevaar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Floris Valentijn, 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Lettelbert was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Kroon to maneuver through the defense. If Patrick van Nieuwstadt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Floris Valentijn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Rensenbrink, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Werner Korevaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurens Kroon scored 2-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Floris Valentijn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Alfred Rensenbrink fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Gentle Ds's zone, Werner Korevaar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Floris Valentijn came out of the goal and Werner Korevaar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Floris Valentijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Rensenbrink in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Jorn Robben notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn. Floris Valentijn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laurens Kroon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorn Robben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfred Rensenbrink to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Patrick van Nieuwstadt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lettelbert's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick van Nieuwstadt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Dolf van der Aa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Rensenbrink in the 55th minute of play. Floris Valentijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurens Kroon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floris Valentijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorn Robben in the 60th minute of play. Floris Valentijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Rensenbrink in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Jorn Robben who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dolf van der Aa charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dolf van der Aa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dolf van der Aa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Mark Roeles fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lettelbert's protests and gave Mark Roeles a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Lettelbert got a freekick which was hit by Mark Roeles. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Wouter de Zwaan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gentle Ds's supporters rose to their feet, but Wouter de Zwaan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arno Neijsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Rensenbrink in the 74th minute of play forced Gentle Ds's goalkeeper Floris Valentijn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floris Valentijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Rensenbrink in the 78th minute of the match. Jorn Robben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Floris Valentijn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Floris Valentijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Korevaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floris Valentijn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Rensenbrink in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Lettelbert got a corner. Gentle Ds's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mark Roeles ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lettelbert's corner Mark Roeles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Floris Valentijn quite easily take care of the ball. Floris Valentijn came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Lettelbert's Laurens Kroon. But to his dismay, Laurens Kroon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Lettelbert walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
