Spectators: 7974 (Terracing: 5982, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) Wouter de Zwaan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Vincent Haremeijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Floris Valentijn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Geert Arend Wehkamp reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Floris Valentijn. The goal made the score 1-0. Steven Haydon got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vincent Haremeijer. Floris Valentijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Haremeijer in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Dejavu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Haremeijer to maneuver through the defense. Floris Valentijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Haremeijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Haremeijer in the 27th minute of play. Dejavu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geert Arend Wehkamp in the 28th minute. The corner led Dejavu FC's Geert Arend Wehkamp to fire away a dangerous shot which Floris Valentijn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sjef Asselbergs hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Geale Adriaanse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Gentle Ds from getting a goal against them. Geert Arend Wehkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Floris Valentijn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geert Arend Wehkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Haremeijer made a kick off. Geert Arend Wehkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Floris Valentijn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Vincent Haremeijer notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn. Floris Valentijn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Arend Wehkamp in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gentle Ds's zone, Geert Arend Wehkamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Floris Valentijn came out of the goal and Geert Arend Wehkamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wouter de Zwaan came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Gentle Ds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wouter de Zwaan couldn't finish the play. Floris Valentijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert Arend Wehkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Haremeijer in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Robert Ronde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Floris Valentijn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Vincent Haremeijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kees Matthijs kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Dejavu FC's Thomas Rodenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vincent Haremeijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geert Arend Wehkamp in the 86th minute of play forced Gentle Ds's goalkeeper Floris Valentijn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Geert Arend Wehkamp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Floris Valentijn was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Vincent Haremeijer's late challenge caught a Gentle Ds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent Haremeijer helped the player get up and apologised. 96 minutes into the game, Robert Ronde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dejavu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gentle Ds the free kick. Robert Ronde hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Wouter de Zwaan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dejavu FC had played much better football throughout.
