Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Matijs Hensmans made a precise shot to the right of Floris Valentijn. Gentle Ds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some careless play in the Gentle Ds defense, Matijs Hensmans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Floris Valentijn. The Gentle Ds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Floris Valentijn should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Heideheim FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Thijs Stroobos hit a great ball. Wouter de Zwaan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but José Dias made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Henk-Jan Schuurmans notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn. Floris Valentijn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Wouter de Zwaan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Floris Valentijn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-5 lead.

The wind increased when Wouter de Zwaan made the kick off in the second half. Floris Valentijn came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Heideheim FC's Matijs Hensmans. But to his dismay, Matijs Hensmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. Emil Teuben could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Floris Valentijn made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Wouter de Zwaan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-7. 80 minutes into the match, Gentle Ds's goal looked a bit too open when Matijs Hensmans came free, but Floris Valentijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olaf Walstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Gentle Ds defense, Emil Teuben kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Floris Valentijn. The Gentle Ds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Floris Valentijn should have stopped the shot. The Gentle Ds fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Heideheim FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
