Rolf Sybring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Rodenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dennis Buskermolen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rolf Sybring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny de Vos charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny de Vos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dejavu FC booed when Trixie FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny de Vos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jack Rodenboog kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gio de Backer. That made the score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When Geert Arend Wehkamp came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Dejavu FC fans jumped to their feet. Rolf Sybring was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the game, Douwe Ricksen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
