Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wim Reints kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, VV Zonnedael's Roeland Veldman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klaas Jan Haken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Henk Kikkert could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Klaas Jan Haken however easily saved by the left post. 8 minutes into the game, VV Zonnedael's Roderick Eringa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klaas Jan Haken made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Bossenburgh RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Roeland Veldman came free, but Klaas Jan Haken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bossenburgh RKSV's Klaas Jan Haken proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Bossenburgh RKSV from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Pepijn de Kort left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bossenburgh RKSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 27th minute of the match, Henk Kikkert got a very nice opportunity to score, but Klaas Jan Haken was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Henk Kikkert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klaas Jan Haken came out and tried to block the shot, but Henk Kikkert slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. Klaas Jan Haken was a little too slow when Roeland Veldman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-1. If Wim Reints had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The VV Zonnedael fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when VV Zonnedael's Pieter Zonneveld looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henk Kikkert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to VV Zonnedael getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Roeland Veldman hit a great ball. Roderick Eringa scored 5-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klaas Jan Haken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Klaas Jan Haken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roeland Veldman in the 59th minute of the match. Klaas Jan Haken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roeland Veldman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pieter Zonneveld during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th match minute, VV Zonnedael was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieter Zonneveld to maneuver through the defense. Pieter Zonneveld scored 7-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klaas Jan Haken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Pieter Zonneveld notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Bossenburgh RKSV's Klaas Jan Haken. Klaas Jan Haken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of VV Zonnedael booed when Bossenburgh RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cees Haken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cees Haken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel Huiting having to interfere. After 89 played minutes VV Zonnedael got a freekick which was hit by Henk Kikkert. Klaas Jan Haken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roderick Eringa in the 97th minute of the match.
