The audience thought a goal was coming when Thijs Gulpen got free with Floris Valentijn in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Trixie FC's Joost Brouwer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Floris Valentijn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The wind increased when Wouter de Zwaan made the kick off in the second half. Thijs Gulpen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Floris Valentijn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Floris Valentijn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Rodenboog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gentle Ds's Floris Valentijn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Rodenboog in the 75th minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Trixie FC's Joost Brouwer made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Floris Valentijn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Geale Adriaanse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joost Brouwer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Thijs Gulpen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Floris Valentijn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ronny de Vos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trixie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronny de Vos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Floris Valentijn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trixie FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
