After a defensive mix-up in Temadias FC's zone, Henk Meder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascall Brinks came out of the goal and Henk Meder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henk Meder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascall Brinks having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Temadias FC's Erben Grommers got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Mario van Driest came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Wittebrink S.V. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario van Driest couldn't finish the play. Henk Meder struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Pascall Brinks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wittebrink S.V.. Peter de Nooijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Richard Knopper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wittebrink S.V.'s Richard Knopper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Wittebrink S.V. from getting a goal against them. Jan Rein Hofman came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richard Knopper could save by the left post. 45 minutes into the match, Henk Meder notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Temadias FC's Pascall Brinks. Pascall Brinks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henk Meder was the one to do the kick off. Wittebrink S.V.'s Richard Knopper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter de Nooijer in the 53rd minute of play. Richard Knopper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter de Nooijer in the 56th minute of play. Jef Bogarde hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Elco Ros struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Richard Knopper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Temadias FC. 60 minutes into the match, Wittebrink S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Peter de Nooijer came free, but Richard Knopper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Wittebrink S.V.'s Henk Meder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pascall Brinks. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Temadias FC's Arnout Borst got a free kick in the 65th minute. Pascall Brinks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henk Meder in the 66th minute. Richard Knopper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter de Nooijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dirk Jan Donderwinkel kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Temadias FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter de Nooijer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erben Grommers during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Temadias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erben Grommers to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Wittebrink S.V. defense, Erben Grommers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Knopper. The Wittebrink S.V. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Knopper should have stopped the shot.
