Spectators: 8047 (Terracing: 6036, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maarten Wortelboer kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taco Baatenburg during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stryp's Taco Baatenburg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Maarten Wortelboer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taco Baatenburg got his second yellow card in the match during the 7th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 8th minute, Taco Baatenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maarten Wortelboer had several of the Stryp's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Berry Theissen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fabrizio Oroni came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Stryp's Elmar Wolf. But to his dismay, Elmar Wolf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 21st minute Philip Lanting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio Oroni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio Oroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willem Deijnen in the 24th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Stryp's goalkeeper Berry Theissen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maarten Wortelboer. After a defensive mix-up in Stryp's zone, Maarten Wortelboer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berry Theissen came out of the goal and Maarten Wortelboer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Elmar Wolf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berry Theissen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aílton Toscano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 37 minute of play. In the 45th minute Maarten Wortelboer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berry Theissen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Frits van Putten in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kubotai F.C.'s Aílton Toscano. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philip Lanting was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ate Adelaar during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Kubotai F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ate Adelaar to maneuver through the defense. Berry Theissen came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Kubotai F.C.'s Maarten Wortelboer. But to his dismay, Maarten Wortelboer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Aílton Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes into the match, Maarten Wortelboer notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Stryp's Berry Theissen. Berry Theissen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Berry Theissen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maarten Wortelboer's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The supporters of Kubotai F.C. booed when Stryp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmar Wolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kubotai F.C.'s Jurjen Ekelhoff got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kubotai F.C.'s Ferdi Siepel got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maarten Wortelboer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Berry Theissen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maarten Wortelboer struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Berry Theissen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kubotai F.C.. Berry Theissen came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Kubotai F.C.'s Aílton Toscano. But to his dismay, Aílton Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. If Maarten Wortelboer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frits van Putten made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Willem Deijnen. When Philip Lanting came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Stryp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Lanting couldn't finish the play. Elmar Wolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrizio Oroni having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kubotai F.C. fully deserved thier win.
