Uithuizen:s Jerzy Gongolewicz showed great skill when he stopped Jurjen Ekelhoff:s penalty. After having played for 84 minutes, Cemil Talayhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uithuizen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cemil Talayhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ted Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uithuizen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrizio Oroni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kubotai F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
