Randenburg's Boudewijn Klooster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atabek Temren in the 11th minute of play. Maarten Wortelboer might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boudewijn Klooster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maarten Wortelboer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th match minute, Kubotai F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Toscano to maneuver through the defense. When Maarten Wortelboer came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Kubotai F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maarten Wortelboer couldn't finish the play. Boudewijn Klooster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarten Wortelboer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdi Siepel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Coopman was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Kees Hulscher from a close distance when the talented Fabrizio Oroni managed to make a qualified save. Kubotai F.C.'s players were relieved. 54 minutes into the game, Rik Hoeksma threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kubotai F.C.'s Aílton Toscano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nathan Veen hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Randenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Siepel came free, but Boudewijn Klooster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Randenburg defense, Maarten Wortelboer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boudewijn Klooster. The Randenburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boudewijn Klooster should have stopped the shot. After 72 minutes, Maarten Wortelboer made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Randenburg's Boudewijn Klooster tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Kubotai F.C. booed when Randenburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Coopman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Coopman struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Fabrizio Oroni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Randenburg.
