Spectators: 7966 (Terracing: 5976, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusebiu Miulescu started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Tibma got a freekick which was hit by Guus van Dongen. In the 7th match minute, Sporting Skoekeloen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorn Ponk to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Eusebiu Miulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sporting Skoekeloen defense, Guus van Dongen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martijn Geerts. The Sporting Skoekeloen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martijn Geerts should have stopped the shot. Martijn Geerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Miulescu in the 17th minute of play. Jorn Ponk lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Tibma booed when Sporting Skoekeloen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorn Ponk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Tibma's Eusebiu Miulescu tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Martijn Geerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marick Bartels in the 21st minute of play. Tibma's Zé Roberto Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobus Hanekamp in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Mathijs Zevenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebiu Miulescu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martijn Geerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martijn Geerts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebiu Miulescu went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mårten Kullgren took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martijn Geerts. Martijn Geerts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 46th match minute, Sporting Skoekeloen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobus Hanekamp to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Skoekeloen's Martijn Geerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marick Bartels in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remond Luikens was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tibma's zone, Remond Luikens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Cardoso came out of the goal and Remond Luikens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remond Luikens in the 64th minute of play forced Tibma's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tibma's Eusebiu Miulescu in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Skoekeloen's goalie prevented a goal. Marick Bartels hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, Tibma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Kullgren to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Miulescu in the 77th minute of play forced Sporting Skoekeloen's goalkeeper Martijn Geerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mårten Kullgren could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Martijn Geerts however easily saved by the left post. Sporting Skoekeloen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Mårten Kullgren scored to the left of an out of position Martijn Geerts, making the score, 0-4. In the 89th minute, Mårten Kullgren made a precise shot to the right of Martijn Geerts. Sporting Skoekeloen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 97 minutes into the match, Sporting Skoekeloen's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Miulescu came free, but Martijn Geerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tibma had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
