Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erben Wekenburg started the match with the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Victor Damstra put in a rough tackle. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Legia Maassluis! The referee gave Val a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dirk Reinhard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Legia Maassluis's Ed Kruit. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Job van Dalfsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Val's supporters rose to their feet, but Job van Dalfsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ed Kruit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thijs Veltman kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Iswadi Sujarwadi struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ed Kruit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Val. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iswadi Sujarwadi in the 21st minute of play forced Legia Maassluis's goalkeeper Ed Kruit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joeri Folkers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ed Kruit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Zuiverloon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo McGee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iswadi Sujarwadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ed Kruit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Val's goalkeeper Gong Chao Chang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Val's goalkeeper Gong Chao Chang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Eiting. Ed Kruit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iswadi Sujarwadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Iswadi Sujarwadi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ed Kruit was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Marc Eiting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gong Chao Chang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iswadi Sujarwadi in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ed Kruit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iswadi Sujarwadi in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ed Kruit saved Legia Maassluis from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mike Holt during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Legia Maassluis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Holt to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo McGee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Kruit having to interfere.

In the 52nd match minute, Legia Maassluis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiaan van Dalfsen to maneuver through the defense. Ed Kruit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Reinhard, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Iswadi Sujarwadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Kruit having to interfere. Gong Chao Chang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Eiting in the 62nd minute of the match. Chiel Zandberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jurgen Jonkman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gong Chao Chang. Val's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ed Kruit made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Hans Zuiverloon sent off a good shot on target. Iswadi Sujarwadi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Ed Kruit skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ed Kruit came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Val's Iswadi Sujarwadi. But to his dismay, Iswadi Sujarwadi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 74 minutes into the match, Legia Maassluis's goalkeeper Ed Kruit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Zuiverloon. Iswadi Sujarwadi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Ed Kruit 79 minutes into the match. Legia Maassluis's Ed Kruit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iswadi Sujarwadi in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Iswadi Sujarwadi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ed Kruit, 0-6. Val played a much better game than Legia Maassluis and deserved their victory. The Legia Maassluis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
