After some careless play in the Tibma defense, Falco Lubbers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Roberto Cardoso. The Tibma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Roberto Cardoso should have stopped the shot. Zé Roberto Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falco Lubbers in the 8th minute of play. Luc Nyemanting lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tibma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! When Gerwin van Harten fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GWMD's protests and gave Gerwin van Harten a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes GWMD got a freekick which was hit by Gerwin van Harten. Zé Roberto Cardoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falco Lubbers went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Zé Roberto Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinus Dolfing, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Mart Zwaanswijk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Zé Roberto Cardoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Falco Lubbers scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Roberto Cardoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Mart Zwaanswijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinus Dolfing in the 37th minute of play forced Tibma's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Cardoso came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by GWMD's Danny Engelaar. But to his dismay, Danny Engelaar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Guus van Dongen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marick Bartels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of GWMD booed when Tibma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Sterenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tibma's Zé Roberto Cardoso got control of the ball when Danny Engelaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th minute, Marinus Dolfing reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zé Roberto Cardoso. The goal made the score 0-9. Zé Roberto Cardoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marinus Dolfing showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 56 minute of play. Zé Roberto Cardoso was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Falco Lubbers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Falco Lubbers really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. In the 64th minute, Falco Lubbers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Benjamin Ierlandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mårten Kullgren in the 69th minute of the match. Tibma's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Marinus Dolfing scored to the left of an out of position Zé Roberto Cardoso, making the score, 0-13. After a defensive mix-up in Tibma's zone, Marinus Dolfing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Roberto Cardoso came out of the goal and Marinus Dolfing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes Tibma got a freekick which was hit by Guus van Dongen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falco Lubbers got free with Zé Roberto Cardoso in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Roberto Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinus Dolfing, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. GWMD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
