Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sjef Wagenaar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sjef Wagenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gong Chao Chang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Ferry Kuypers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gong Chao Chang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iswadi Sujarwadi in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gio Elders saved Hønefoss BK from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Ferry Kuypers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hønefoss BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Val the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Val was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Cymbal to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Hønefoss BK's goalkeeper Gio Elders had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Zuiverloon. In the 20th minute Val were awarded a corner. Dirk Reinhard went to the cornerflag to take it. 21 minutes into the game, Val's Iswadi Sujarwadi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gio Elders made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 27th minute, Ferry Kuypers made a precise shot to the right of Gong Chao Chang. Val's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ferry Kuypers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Chao Chang having to interfere. If Sjef Wagenaar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Hønefoss BK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iswadi Sujarwadi to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Sjef Wagenaar took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Gong Chao Chang to make any attempt to save it. Sjef Wagenaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gong Chao Chang made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferry Kuypers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gong Chao Chang. That made the score 1-4 in the 65 minute of play. Gio Elders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iswadi Sujarwadi in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iswadi Sujarwadi in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gio Elders saved Hønefoss BK from getting behind. A collision led to Hønefoss BK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Daan Wittendorp hit a great ball. Hønefoss BK's Ferry Kuypers got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Ferry Kuypers off the ground. After a rather tough play, Hønefoss BK's Ferry Kuypers got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Vincent Bakker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dirk Reinhard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Val's supporters rose to their feet, but Dirk Reinhard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gio Elders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hønefoss BK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Val's much stronger midfield.
