Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1870, VIP seats: 51) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniele Stragapede kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Gio Sloothaak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Bennink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dirk Witting kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Gerben Eylens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Borker in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Weena's Simon Hartogh got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Diamonds's Jan Oss broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Diamonds's goal looked a bit too open when Gooitzen Witting came free, but Reinhard Bennink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinhard Bennink didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gio Sloothaak went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Reinhard Bennink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gio Sloothaak in the 29th minute of play. Daniele Stragapede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gerben Eylens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Diamonds's Dirk Witting got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gerben Eylens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Stragapede, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gooitzen Witting in the 39th minute of play forced Diamonds's goalkeeper Reinhard Bennink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ab Spiering's late challenge caught a Diamonds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ab Spiering helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Weena's Ab Spiering got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Frederik Visscher kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ab Spiering in the 44th minute of play forced Diamonds's goalkeeper Reinhard Bennink to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ab Spiering to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Frederik Visscher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniele Stragapede came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Diamonds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Stragapede couldn't finish the play. Rudolf Borker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gerben Eylens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinhard Bennink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gooitzen Witting in the 69th minute of play. Olof Hof charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olof Hof the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Diamonds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Hof to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Ab Spiering dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reinhard Bennink, 1-2. 75 minutes into the match, Daniele Stragapede notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Weena's Gerben Eylens. Gerben Eylens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerben Eylens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Oss in the 80th minute of play. Gerben Eylens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniele Stragapede went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Daniele Stragapede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerben Eylens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Gertjan van Zwam kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Daniele Stragapede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerben Eylens having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Diamonds's goal looked a bit too open when Ab Spiering came free, but Reinhard Bennink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinhard Bennink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gooitzen Witting in the 95th minute of the match.
